The recovery of oil and gas from the subsea environment involves the use of many  seabed structures. These seabed structures present snagging dangers to the fishing community. Many subsea structures are protected by safety zones, though others do not have the benefit of safety zones and therefore, it is vital that their positions are known.

The positions of all subsea structures are provided on the Kingfisher oil and gas CDs for your onboard plotting system. Here we will look at the most commonly found seabed structures:
