If you have any issues with your FishSAFE unit relating to repairs or maintenance, please follow the procedures outlined below.
Repairs during Warranty Period of Three Years
A repair service is available to remedy any defect which may arise through ordinary use of the unit within three years from the date on which the units were delivered to FLTC Services Limited by the manufacturer. This applies to defects in material and workmanship. The warranty will not apply where the unit has been tampered with, misused or altered.
This period will last until spring/summer of 2023. The procedure is as follows:
- You should notify FLTCS of the defect as soon as it is noticed.
- FLTCS will then contact the manufacturer and follow the procedures laid down in the contract with them.
- You are required to assist FLTCS with the return of the unit to the manufacturer if this is necessary.
- FLTCS will keep you informed of progress with the warranty claim.
Repairs after end of Warranty Period
After the end of the three year warranty period, the manufacturer will offer a repair service for a further seven years. They will also try to provide spare parts in so far as available. These services will be at market price. Further details can be provided on request.
