Data Updates

The update process differs depending which FishSAFE Unit you have installed on your vessel.

For FishSAFE version 2 units (available from 2009-2019) 

• • Please download the latest file from the download page, unzip and copy the *.dat file to an SD card before inserting into your FishSAFE unit

For FishSAFE version 3 units (available from summer 2020 – ) 

• Providing your unit it connected to the internet (via wifi or ethernet cable), the unit will automatically update itself with the latest data.
• The unit does have a micro-SD card slot, allowing for manual update of data. Once available, this data file will be available from the download page.
