Somerville platform (Block 49/17) to Southwark Platform in (Block 49/21)-Pipeline Route Survey SNS
Route Survey from Block 49/17 to Block 49/21
Hartshead resources is planning a hydrographic and environmental survey from the planned position of the Somerville platform in Block 49/17 to the Southwark Platform in Block 49/21. The work will involve five lines approximately 50m apart using multi-beam echosounder and towed sidescan sonar and magnetometer. Following this part of the work a number of environmental stations will be occupied along the route where grab samples and camera work will be undertaken.
The Geoxyz vessel Geo Ocean V (or her sister ship Geo Ocean IX) will carry out the work which is expected to mobilise in the period 19th to 25th September and take approximately 10 days.

Curlew D Field - Exclusion Zone
Following completion of the Curlew WHS Campaign, post-decommissioning, a seabed inspection survey and trawl verification sweep identified a known natural seabed obstruction, which is highlighted in the coordinates below, measuring app. 4.0 m x 2.2 m x 0.5 m. In addition, 75m exclusion zones were maintained around each retained drill cuttings pile to prevent disturbance by trawl gear. These zones should continue to be avoided by fishing vessels and other seabed users operating in the area.

Hamilton Main - Barge Transportation & Heavy Lift Operations- Update
Mariners are advised that Liverpool Bay CCS Ltd will be conducting heavy lift and support operations using the Semi-Submersible Crane Vessel (SSCV) Balder (see section 6 in the attached notice) the vessel arrived at 5 NM WNW bearing 287° from Hamilton Main Gas Field on Friday 5th September to position: 53° 35.5' N 003° 35.6' W The vessel will transit to Hamilton Main on the 9th September
The Balder is scheduled to initially transit to Hamilton Main and/or Hamiliton North installations to continue lifting/support operations on behalf of Eni UK before carrying out work on the Douglas Platform.
Douglas CCS Installation Works
There has been a change in tow vessel from the Boka Winger to the ocean-going tug Boulder with Barge H - 408 in tow. The vessel has begun transporting the new Douglas CCS installation which departed Italy on the 7th September (see section 6 for vessel dimensions within the attached notice) and is expected to arrive on standby~ 10 days later on the ~17th September 2026 (weather dependent). Updates on entry into west bound Liverpool Bay TSS will follow.
Barge H-408 will be moored to the SSCV Balder during lift operations. The vessels will have restricted manoeuvrability in all axes of movment and always display the relevant night and day signals.
The vessels will enter TSS from the West (see Figure 2 , Tow Rote Phase 1&2 within the attached notice), with the SSCV Balder engaging in lifting/support operations within the Hamilton Main/North installation 500m Safety Zones on behalf of Eni Uk decommissioning works, where then on the arrival of the Barge H408 ~17th Sept (transporting the new Douglas CCS installation) the SSCV Balder will move to the Douglas Platform Safety Zone (LBCCS Block G) via the East bound TSS to carry out the installation of the new Douglas CCS installation on behalf of LBCCS Ltd
The duration of the SSCV Balder heavy lift within the TSS safety zone at Douglas will take approximately 7 days, subjected to change depending on progress and weather.

NEP - Seabed Lander Deployment
Mariners are advised that the Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP) will be deploying 6 Permanent CO2 Monitoring Seabed Landers which will monitor areas around the legacy wells and the Bunter Outcrop. The deployment will be undertaken by the Forth Constructor, which is now anticipated to mobilise on site ~ 12th September 2026.
A total of 2 landers are planned to be deployed within each deployment box; positions of the boxes are shown in Figure 1 with positions given in Tables 1-3.
As-laid coordinates of individual landers will be shared once available.
The Landers are designed to minimise snagging risk but are not over trawlable and not designed to NORSOK U001.
The Seabed Landers will be deployed for up to 5 years depending on operational requirements and will be serviced annually during operation.
Mariners are requested to maintain a safe distance of at least 500 m from the Forth Constructor at all times.

Please be informed about the following:
Wintershall Noordzee B.V. owns and operates the Wingate Normally Unmanned Installation (NUI), located in the Southern North Sea (SNS) within United Kingdom Continental Shelf (UKCS), Block 44/24b.
In-field works are foreseen to be carried out at the Wingate NUI by means of the EDT Multi-Purpose Support Vessel (MPSV) DPII Prometheus; IMO 9339428, Call sign: 5LPL4.
These works include sub-sea pipeline disconnect activities, as part of the wider Wingate platform decommissioning programme.
Upon arrival the EDT Prometheus will remain positioned stationary in proximity of the Wingate platform.
The above-described activities are foreseen to commence as per 10 September 2026 and are expected to continue for a period of approximately one (1) week.
As the pipeline disconnect activities will take place within the Wingate permanent 500-meter safety exclusion zone, NO hinderance or increased risk to navigation and/or marine traffic is foreseen or expected.

NEP Post-pipelay Trenching and Burial Activities
Mariners are advised that the Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP) will be undertaking post-pipelay trenching and burial installation activities in support of the NEP offshore pipeline construction programme using the vessel Normand Frontier
The works will be undertaken by the Normand Frontier and are anticipated to commence on or around 15th September 2026, continuing intermittently until approximately 12 January 2027, subject to weather, operational requirements and programme changes.
The works will involve use of trenching tool which will be attached to the pipeline. The trenching tool will be deployed and controlled by a crane and umbilical control unit on the starboard side of the vessel. These operations will take place in areas where sufficient burial of the pipeline can be achieved within the NEP Pipeline Construction Area Blocks 1 -5 , as shown in Figure 1 and detailed in Table 1 of the attached notice.
Mariners are requested to maintain a safe distance of at least 500 m from the Normand Frontier at all times and to navigate with caution when operating in the vicinity of the works.

Scapa Flow to Loch Kishorn. - Wet tow of the Western Isles FPSO, IMO 9736171
Dana Petroleum will tow the Western Isles FPSO from Scapa Flow to Loch Kishorn. The tow is scheduled for 18 September 2026, subject to weather conditions. The route is approximately 178 nautical miles via the Pentland Firth, North Minch and Inner Sound. The passage is expected to take approximately two days. Mariners should be aware that the towing operation will have restricted manoeuvrability. Following arrival, Western Isles will be secured at its planned mooring location in Loch Kishorn.

Captain Field - Subsea excavation work using Boka Da Vinci or Horizon Arctic
Excavation work, in accordance with ML/1517/0, to undertake controlled subsea dredging/excavation around the existing WPPA tie-in infrastructure to be undertaken from the the Boka Da Vinci Dive Support Vessel (DSV) or Horizon Arctic using the WeSubsea 6" Hydraulic ROV Dredge.
The dredger(s) will be used to undertake controlled localised excavation of seabed sediment/drill cuttings around the exiting tie-in infrastructure. A calculated disturbance area of 66,000 m² represents a conservative maximum spatial envelope for environmental assessment purposes. It does not indicate that all seabed within this area will be directly disturbed or that measurable deposition will extend uniformly to the boundary of the envelope.

NEP - Passive Acoustic Monitoring Survey Equipment Recovery
Mariners are hereby advised that the Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP) has completed the Offshore Passive Acoustic Monitoring (PAM) Survey within the Southern North Sea. This survey deployed of a series of PAM mooring equipment and Cardinal Buoys which supported environmental monitoring activities.
Equipment is scheduled to be removed in 2 separate operations by the BB Ocean:
Operation 1. 5th – 8th September 2026
Operation 2. 15th – 17th September 2026
The BB Ocean is estimated to de-mobilise on the 18th of September 2026 after all equipment has been removed from site.

NEP Pre-Lay Offshore Dredging Activities - Update - Njord R Demob
Mariners are advised that the Northern Endurance Partnership (NEP) continue to undertake sand dredging activities within blocks 4&5 of the NEP pipeline construction area as part of the pre-lay pipeline construction activities.
The operations are being conducted within fishing Blocks 4 and 5. Block 5 has been extended to accommodate dredge spoil and is now larger than first reported within v01 of this notice. These locations are shown below in Figure 1 and Table 1.
The works were initially undertaken by two vessels: the Hermod R and the Njord R.
The Njord R has completed work and de-mobilised.
The Hermod R continues its sand wave clearance activities. These activities are anticipated to continue until ~8th October 2026.

Foinaven - Pre-Decommissioning Environmental Survey
Environmental and Geophysical survey operations carried out by the vessel Geo Ocean III, on behalf of bp, shall commence approximately 21st July. Survey operations are expected to last a duration of 30 days subject to any delay due to adverse weather.
Geo Ocean III shall be conducting an environmental survey in the Foinaven Field. The survey shall comprise:
- AUV geophysical survey at approximately 3 knots using multibeam echosounder and sidescan sonar. This survey shall primarily cover the former DC 500m zones and pipeline/umbilical corridors in the field.
- Environmental survey, of up to 36 stations. At each station the vessel shall complete camera transects and grab samples.
- ROV general visual inspection of Structures
Throughout the duration of the survey, the vessel shall have restricted ability to manoeuvre.

Breagh Alpha - Valaris 122 on location
Works are planned to be carried out with the Valaris 122 MODU at the Breagh Alpha NPAI from the 10th September and are expected to continue to approximately 28th February 2027. The Valaris 122 will remain positioned stationary in proximity to the Breagh Alpha platform. All activities are expected to take place within the 500m safety exclusion zone, so no hinderance or increased risk to navigation and/or marine traffic is foreseen.

Greater Stella Area - Decommissioning Activities
GSA flushing, disconnects and mid-water arch (MWA) removals
Ithaca Energy is undertaking the decommissioning of the Greater Stella Area (GSA) field facilities, located in central North Sea Blocks 30/06, 30/01 and 29/10. GSA has been developed via a number of subsea tie-backs (Stella main drill centre (MDC), Stella north drill centre (NDC), Harrier, Abigail and Vorlich), and associated subsea infrastructure (manifolds, infield pipelines, gas lift lines, umbilicals, risers and riser bases), and export pipelines (gas and oil), which were tied into the floating production facility, the Stella FPF-1.
The Stella FPF-1 has been removed from location. Activity will remain in field through July - Oct to remove the MWAs, mooring lines and other infrastructure.
Some items will remain wet stored in the GSA for later recovery.
MARLIN AIS is in place to track activity in the area.
Note: the removal of the MWAs using shaped charges is expected to commence 1st September withwork ongoing for around 10 days. An accoutic deterrent device (ADD) is to be deployed.
The activities are anticipated to take approximately 10 days, as two MWAs (Stella and Vorlich) require removal. Following the removal and tow-to-shore disposal of the first MWA, the Normand Drott will return to site to remove the second MWA.

Subsea campaign to disconnect and remove Sean Field pipelines and subsea infrastructure
The project is to remove 20” and 30” pipeline tie-in spools, the Sean RD power cable, the SSIV and protection frame, the SSIV umbilical and the mooring buoys using vessels Edda Freya and Olympic Ares. Olympic Ares partially completed the first campaign - removal of pipeline spools, power cable and umbilical. Some remaining infrastructure will be removed by the Volantis (Deep Ocean) mobilising 12th September. The SSIV will be removed by Edda Freya 20th September 2026.
As part of field decommissioning operations, the following field infrastructure will be removed using two vessels Edda Freya and Olympic Ares over two months.
• Tie in spools from PL310 (Sean Papa to Sean Romeo production flowline) - completed
• Tie in spools from PL311 (Sean Papa to SSIV to Bacton production flowline) - completed
• PLU5156 (Sean Papa to Sean Romeo power cable; 4.89 km in length) - completed
• PLU5157 (367 m Sean Papa to SSIV hydraulic umbilical; 367 m in length) - completed
• Remaining Mattresses and associated subsea infrastructure - to be removed Mid September (Volantis)
• SSIV - disconnected - to be removed 20th September Edda Freyer
• Mooring buoys - partially removed remained to be removed Mid September (Volantis).
Campaign with Olympic Ares is completed. Remaining subse infrastructure to be removed by Volantis, Final removal of SSIV will be completed by Edda Freya from 20th September 2026.

XOCEAN is planning the collection of geophysical data of assets in the nearshore environment adjacent to the St Fergus Gas terminal landfall, using a remotely piloted Uncrewed Surface Vessel (USV). The area of operation extends from the surf zone seaward, approximately 3.5km due east of the terminal.
The USV will transit to site from Port Peterhead prior to survey commencement and complete a reciprocal passage upon scope completion. One USV with hull mounted survey sensors (Multibeam Echosounder and Sub Bottom Profiler) will be used to collect the data on site. A crewed Support Vessel will be chartered throughout the survey to support the USV with departures and arrivals from Port Peterhead and facilitate a return tow if a technical issue occurs.
Dates/Duration: Operations are planned commence in late August/early September 2026, with exact dates yet to be confirmed. The USV will actively be operating in the area for 24hrs.

Cook Well Intervention Operations
Helix Enhancer (LWIV) will be connected to the Cook P1 well to carry out well intervention scope.
The planned scope of work will involve first performing a barrier test on the Cook P1 Xmas Tree (XT) and rigging up of the Subsea Intervention Lubricator (SIL). A chemical treatment will then be applied to remediate the build-up of asphaltene / wax. Data gathering will be undertaken by the deployment of an electric line integral video calliper complete with pressure and temperature survey. This will confirm the functionality of the Tubing Retrievable Surface-Controlled Subsurface Safety Valve (TR-SSSV), provide an updated HUD and confirm tubing integrity.
Dependant on the HUD, there is potential to re-perforate the Fulmar interval, at depths of 3,699 – 3,734 m RKB (12,135 ft - 12,251 ft). The current two GLVs will then be changed using dual advanced Kick Over Tool (KOT) complete with electric line stroker. At the proposed depth, the tubing will be punched and an additional Interwell GLV straddle system will be inserted. The A-annulus will then be bled down and an acoustic log performed to ensure the integrity of the well.

The main offshore pipelay works will be undertaken by the Castorone, supported by 6 pipe supply and support vessels: FS Aries, Atlantica Server, Surfer Tide, MH Monsoon, FS Hercules, HM Flipper. The Normand Frontier will undertake associated pipeline burial activities. Two guard vessels, the Devotion and the Liberty will also be present within the project area.
Offshore Fisheries Liaison Officers (OFLOs) will be deployed aboard two of the pipe supply and support vessels to support communication with fishing vessels operating in the area.
The main offshore pipelay activities are anticipated to commence on or around 15 August 2026 and continue until approximately 30 November 2026, subject to weather conditions, operational requirements and programme changes.
The pipeline installation works will take place within Blocks 1-5, as shown in Figure 1 and detailed in Table 1.Mariners are requested to maintain a safe distance of at least 500 m from the vessels at all times and to navigate with caution when operating in the vicinity of the works.

Offshore activities by the EDT Hercules are currently anticipated to continue until approximately 24 September 2026, although all dates remain subject to weather, operational requirements and programme changes.
An Offshore Fisheries Liaison Officer (OFLO) will be present onboard the EDT Hercules throughout the offshore campaign and will act as the primary point of contact between the vessel and the fishing industry.Mariners are advised to maintain a safe distance of at least 500 metres from the EDT Hercules at all times.

Acoustic Monitor - Culzean Field
In preparation for the installation of a floating Wind Turbine at Culzean - an acoustic device will be deployed near to the proposed wind turbine location at the Culzean field. The acoustic device will be at the location noted below - but will extend to a total height of 25m above the seabed. The device will deployed from 19th April 2026 (depending on weather) and will be in place for approx. six months.
