Unknown Obstruction - Chestnut Field
During a recent survey an unknown obstruction was encountered at 57°56.915’N, 001°12.575’E. The vessel’s creeper was snagged on a heavy weight and lost in approximately this position. A 0.1nm exclusion zone around this was maintained during the trawl sweep operations - fishermen are recommended to keep clear.
Fishing vessels operating in the vicinity should do so with caution in the areas noted above.
